Nicole Murray, founder of Emerge Counseling Center, is a native of North Carolina. Throughout Nicole’s Career She Has Worked With Individuals Dealing With A Broad Range Of Issues.
including, but not limiting to: parenting skills needs, trauma recovery, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, conflict resolution, and relationship struggles/issues. She has worked in an outpatient setting as a group facilitator and one-on-one with individuals struggling with addiction and mental health issues at both agency settings and private practice offices.
Nicole truly believes that the connection that takes place in the therapeutic relationship can help lead the way to healing and wholeness. Curiosity and empathy are Nicole’s approach to people. She is a learner who is eager to understand individuals, couples,
and families to assist them on their path towards light and truth. Nicole believes that the response to our pain or circumstance is the key in the healing process. Nicole received her Master’s of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She utilizes an array of therapeutic interventions to treat individuals and their specific needs. Some interventions include: person centered therapy, solution focused therapy, trauma focused-cognitive behavior
therapy (TF-CBT), and Gottman Method.
